On the first day, we’ll welcome you at the airport or bus station and take you to your hotel to rest. On your second day, you can visit the Aquarium, a primary attraction in the city of Veracruz. We’ll also tour the San Juan de Ulúa fortress, a place filled with stories and legends. Additionally, we will visit Mandinga, a fishing village surrounded by mangroves, where you can savor delicious cuisine and take a boat ride through the mangroves. The following day, we’ll visit Catemaco, where you’ll see the largest Olmec head in the region in Santiago Tuxtla. Afterward, you’ll visit the “El Salto de Eyipantla” waterfall in San Andrés Tuxtla, and finally, we’ll take a boat ride on Catemaco Lagoon, where you can enjoy the view of howler and macaque monkeys during the journey. Before returning to Veracruz, you’ll explore the largest city of the Totonac culture, Tajín. Here, you’ll have a guided tour of the archaeological zone, where you can see the Pyramid of the Niches and the ball game courts. We’ll also make a stop in the magical town of Papantla. We will pick you up at your hotel to travel to Santiago Tuxtla, where we will visit one of the largest Olmec heads in the state, then we will travel to San Andres Tuxtla to visit “El Salto de Eyipantla”, a spectacular waterfall with more than 50 meters high and 40 meters wide, in this Biosphere Reserve of Los Tuxtlas, You will have direct contact with nature while descending the stairs of 244 steps that takes you to the waterfall and where you will be amazed with the magnitude of this, finally, we will visit Catemaco, a town next to the magnificent enchanted lagoon, place of shamans, witches and healers, in this place you will enjoy a boat ride on the lagoon, visiting the island of spider monkeys and macaque and other islets. On this day you will visit the main attractions of the city. The first point is the Aquarium of Veracruz, here you will enjoy 9 representative areas of the fauna of the state: the jungle of the Tuxtlas, freshwater gallery, saltwater gallery, reef fish tank, the shark tank, the manatee tank, the jellyfish tank, the museum and the dolphinarium.
After finishing your tour, we will visit the Fort of San Juan de Ulua, a coral construction with more than 500 years old, the Fort has been transformed into a museum that allows visitors to discover the history of the State and the importance of this construction in the history of the port, you will learn about the legends that developed within its walls, such as Chucho “El Roto” and the “Mulata de Cordoba”. This Totonaca city houses the Pyramid of the Niches, a construction considered a World Heritage Site and that will amaze you with its beauty. Afterwards, you will be able to observe the Dance of the Voladores de Papantla and visit the Museum of the area to appreciate the daily life of the Totonacs. Following the tour, we will visit Papantla, a magical town in Veracruz.
